Tendons are tissues which attach muscles to bones, and allow the contractions of your muscles to move your joints. They are present in the upper and lower limbs, and treatment can vary depending on the site and how they affect the individual person. The condition can sometimes be associated with swelling, and pain with movement after rest, or following repetitive movement.

The condition is widely written about online, and you may have come across varying terms to describe tendon problems (Tendonitis, Tendinosis, Tendinopathy), but regardless of the term, your local physiotherapy team can help you navigate your way to recovery. Follow the links below find out more.
